True athletes understand that there is no offseason. How to get high school students not only in this spirit but light a fire that propels them to excellence and the beginning of a career was the task Sandymontana was facing with this campaign. Our idea was to let a Nike Football Anthem communicate the career path of an athlete by incorporating elite athletes like Suh, Stewart and Matthews, and letting the epic tone of the spot assure the young athletes that they have the chance to become part of something special: the Nike Football program.

Never having created a Resort collection before, Prabal Gurung wanted to take an unconventional route and present the world something exciting that could rise above the typical fashion film. We couldn’t have agreed more. Our proposal: Prabal Gurung presents hip hop’s latest it girl, Rye Rye (Interscope Records) and the track “New Thing” from her upcoming debut album with dance choreographer by Jaquel Knight (Beyonce – Single Ladies) to create a fashion-inspired music dance video that highlights the 2012 Resort Collection.
